OUR TEAM

The People We Send Into Your Home

Anyone can say their team is trustworthy.
Here's exactly what we do to make sure ours is.

Hiring Process

Our 4-Stage Vetting Process

Application & Reference Check

We contact prior employers and personal references directly – every time, no exceptions.

Phone Interview

A screening conversation about experience, reliability, transportation, and expectations.

In-Person Interview

We meet every candidate face to face before they're ever considered for a client's home.

Background & Drug Testing

Full criminal background screening and drug testing before the first day.

Ongoing Training

And It Doesn’t Stop at Hiring

Vetting someone once isn't a system – it's a hope. So we review performance on a schedule:

  • 90-day review – Are they meeting the standard? Do clients notice them favorably?
  • 6-month review – Consistency check and skills development.
  • Annual review – Full performance evaluation and goal setting.

What This Means for You

  • Every cleaner in your home is background-checked and drug-tested
  • Our company is fully insured and bonded
  • You get consistent, assigned team members – not a rotating cast of strangers
  • Team members are trained on our privacy rules: no closets, no cabinets, no drawers

Meet Amy-Lee (and Ryan!)

Owner & Founder

Amy founded NE Clean in 2005 and has spent 20 years building it on referrals, repeat clients, and an obsessive eye for detail. She personally walks new client properties, sets the standard her team cleans to, and is still the phone number clients call when they need something.

Outside the business, she's raising the next generation of NE Clean. Amy and Ryan have 8 children, and they encourage them to learn the ins and outs of running a business. In fact, their 14-year-old designed the logo you see on our website along with our shirts, hats, and vehicles.
